Butter Paper Badam (Kashmiri) is a soft, oily Kashmiri almond with a characteristic paper-thin shell and rich, buttery kernel. A regional speciality prized for its intense flavour and high oil content, this almond is considered one of the finest almond varieties grown in India.

Kashmiri almonds are grown in the Himalayan foothills at high altitude, where the cool climate and mineral-rich soil produce almonds with a higher oil content and more intense flavour than standard varieties. The paper-thin shell is easy to crack by hand — no nutcracker needed.
