Privacy Policy
Last updated: 01 Sept 2026
Introduction
Nutrivault Foods Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Nutrivault website at https://nutrivault.in(“the Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you browse or shop with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to all visitors and customers.
By using the Site you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account & order details: name, email address, phone number, shipping address (line 1, line 2, city, state, pincode, country).
- Order notes: any optional delivery instructions you choose to add at checkout.
- Support / contact messages: name, email, phone (if provided), subject and message when you submit the contact form, write to care@nutrivault.in, or call +91 98765 43210.
- Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe via the footer form.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL and approximate location (city/region). This is collected from server logs and, only if tracking is enabled by our admin, from analytics tools.
- Cookies & local storage: session cart data and (if you consent) analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Payment metadata
We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. Payment is processed by our payment partners (PhonePe / Paytm). We receive only a transaction status and a masked reference, which we keep for order reconciliation, refunds and accounting.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfil your orders, including dispatch, delivery and returns.
- To send order confirmations, tracking updates and important service notices.
- To respond to your support requests and grievances.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised activity.
- To improve the Site — fix bugs, refine product descriptions, and understand which categories and content are most useful.
- Only with your consent — to send marketing emails (such as the newsletter) and, if our admin has enabled analytics, to measure traffic.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use the minimum cookies and local storage needed to operate the Site — for example, to keep your cart contents between page loads. If the admin enables analytics tracking (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), those vendors set additional cookies; you can manage these in your browser settings. See our full Cookie Policy.
Data We Share
We share your information only with the parties needed to deliver your order or operate the Site, and only the minimum each party needs:
- Payment providers (PhonePe, Paytm) — to authorise, verify and refund payments.
- Shipping / courier partners — name, phone and address (and order reference) to deliver your parcel.
- Hosting & infrastructure — to keep the Site online and secure.
- Analytics vendors — only if the admin has explicitly enabled tracking. You can read about what each vendor collects in their own privacy policies.
- Legal compliance: if required by Indian law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data Retention
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide our service and meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years for tax records under Indian law). Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for up to 12 months after the issue is closed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below) — we will action the request unless we are legally required to retain it.
Your Rights
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention.
- Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any marketing email or by writing to us.
- Withdraw consent: for cookies, analytics and marketing — at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, write to care@nutrivault.in with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed admin passwords, and restricted access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to act promptly if a breach occurs. We will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by Indian law.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please write to care@nutrivault.in and we will delete it.
